So much of success is mindset.š
You hear it all of the timeā¦š
And maybe you believe it, or maybe you donāt.š¤·
I used to be āwhateverā about mindsetā¦š
But after coaching hundreds of people over the past few yearsā¦
I see it again-and-again ā mindset is the difference between those who thrive and those who do not.
Imposter syndromeā¦
Self-sabotageā¦
Fear of rejectionā¦
Feeling like youāre bothering people if you ask for helpā¦
It all comes down to mindsetā¦
And the feeling or belief of not being good enough.
- āI donāt have enough value.ā
- ā I donāt deserve success.ā
- āI donāt belong.ā
Theyāre all manifestations of the same thingā¦
Not being āenough.ā
And weāve usually carried these feelings with us for years.
Thereās a reason the best shrinks spend a lot of time talking about our childhoodā¦
These feelings are so often linked to traumatic or scarring moments from our past.
Some of them are obvious, and we can point to them right awayā¦
Others are buried deeperā¦
Weāve blocked them out, yet they remain lurking below the surface.
So how do you fix this?
How do you shift your mindset?
There are a million answers: books, courses, coaches, mentors, therapists – you name it.
Thereās no right answerā¦
But I will tell you this:
Probably the most impactful way to level up the mindset that Iāve found thus farā¦
Is to be surrounded by people who believe in you.
Itās so simple, but it can carry you so far.
So as a coach and a mentor to peopleā¦
Sometimes, the most effective thing I can do for them is to tell them a simple truth:
That I believe in them with every fiber in my being.
I love them.
So many āgurusā and āleadersā donāt really want to talk about this stuff.
Or if they talk about it, itās on some surface level, but their actions donāt back it up.
For me, I really try to back it up.
I want my tombstone to say: āhe cared moreā or something to that effectā¦
And last night while we were at dinner…
āāI told my wife Laura that I want to start scheduling some āmindset daysā with peopleā¦
Where I book a spaceā¦
Whether itās in Vegas or somewhere elseā¦
And thereās an open invitation to anyone who wants to come.
Then, for several hoursā¦
All we do is work on mindset.
No pitches, upsells, or ulterior agendas…
Literally, just me trying to spend as much time as I can with each attendee, telling them that I believe in them and that I love themā¦
And weāll also find a way to bring in some outside experts on mindset too…
Plus we'll structure it in a way where people get the biggest impact possible.
Kind of weird? Maybe.
Kind of awesome? I think so.
Because if/when I doā¦
Everyone is invited to come.

P.S. You know whatās fun about this post? I know a lot of people will love it. But I bet itāll lead to a bunch of āunfollowsā too. People who read my content for the tactical stuff. They just want to make more money, bro. They donāt need to hear about mindset.
It sucks knowing this is true, but itās fun because at least those people are self-selecting. If youāre not open to at least considering that mindset may be very underrated, then I donāt really want you to be a part of my tribe. Nothing personal, though.
P.P.S. On the flip side, if youāre someone who is truly committed to making their life better, then Iām so glad youāre with me.
āāI donāt care if youāre homeless or rich. I donāt care if youāre a man or a woman. I donāt care if youāre skinny or fat. I donāt care what country you are from, or the color of your skin, or your sexual orientation, or anything else.
āāI couldnāt care less.
āāThe fact that you are committed to achieving great things in your life is inspiring as hell. I love you. And I really do believe in you.
