It kind of feels like conspiracy theories come in waves.š
What I mean is, every few years, certain conspiracy theories leave the fringeā¦
And bubble into the mainstream.
One impetus for conspiracy theories becoming mainstream is traumatic events experienced by the public on a large scaleā¦š±
Like JFKās Assassination, Chernobyl, 9/11, Mass Shootings, and COVID-19 today.š·
Yet, these conspiracy theories can also happen as a result of large social, political, and economic eventsā¦
Like 5G, the development of vaccines, the development of tools for mass surveillance, new political orders like the EU, etc.
And hereās the thingā¦
As a copywriter, I love conspiracy theories.
A huge part of my copywriting processā¦
Is the Unique Mechanism.
This is where weāre explaining how the prospect was missing one small piece of informationā¦
And how this missing information is the REAL reason why they havenāt achieved a desired outcome.
Compare this to conspiracy theoriesā¦
Which generally say that the public at large has been missing some vital piece of informationā¦
And that, because of the withheld information, weāre not living the most freedom-filled, richest, fullest version of our life.
Similar logical syntax, right?
So, this is one of the reasons that when it comes to conspiracy theoriesā¦
And, why I always keep an open mind.
Itās not that I believe every conspiracy theory, or even most of them.
But I do have a natural contrarian natureā¦
I like to question things.
(Probably why I majored in Philosophy.)
And Iām pretty sure that being contrarian and not accepting a lot of information at face valueā¦
Is one of the reasons Iāve been so successful as a writer.
So, just wanted to shareā¦
Because the more you question the status quoā¦
The more success youāre generally going to have as a copywriter.

ā SPG
P.S. One thing Iāll never understand is people who are so obsessed with being āright.ā
Specifically, what Iām referring to is people who rule out any conspiracy theory right away because they disagree with the premiseā¦
And who then become combative, or even upset, whenever they see that someone else gives credence to the theory.
The reason this bothers me so much, I guess, is because being combative and argumentative has very little upside for you ā even when you āknowā youāre right.
Whatās way more beneficial, thoughā¦
Is gaining an understanding of why people hold the beliefs that they do. Thatās like a sacred power ā one that gives you the opportunity to wield incredible influence in both your marketing, and your life at large.
