Originally, the page for our next Copy Accelerator Event was supposed to go live on December 26th…
But instead, it’s just going live today.
By “live” I mean that starting today…
Justin and I will be talking about the upcoming event in some of our emails, as well as on Facebook…
And we’ll be making about 100 tickets available to the public…
Although you can’t just buy a ticket, you have to apply and be vetted first.
Spoiler Alert: a bit later in this email I’m going to encourage you to apply…
But, before I do…
I want to tell you why Justin was right about this sales page (and why I was wrong).
We had the sales copy for the page finished in early December…
But we didn’t start production on the page itself until a few days before Christmas.
Justin was in Cabo from December 20th to the 26th…
So I was in charge of coordinating with Blake from our team to get the sales page live.
Which I did…
Blake got the page up super-fast…
And when I looked at it I thought: “hey, this is pretty good!”
Then Justin got back from Cabo…
He took one look at the page…
And he had a laundry list of things that he felt needed to be changed.
If I’m being honest…
At first, when I saw this feedback I was PISSED.
Not at Justin specifically…
But I was frustrated…
Because I knew it would delay us going live with the page for at least a week.
Justin wanted pictures running down the side of the sales page where we showed people who were at our previous event in Austin…
He wanted the testimonials on the sales page to be formatted differently…
And he wanted to entirely redo the section where we introduce the lineup of guest speakers.
I felt like maybe he was being nitpicky…
Especially since I often have a “lean startup mentality”…
Where I just put up a minimum viable product to start, and then do tweaks after the page is already live.
I figured this approach would work here, too…
Especially since our first event in Austin was attended by nearly 200 of the biggest names in Direct Response…
And those folks couldn’t stop talking about how it was one of the best events they’d ever been to.
So I figured when we announced that we were making a limited number of seats to our February Mastermind available to the public…
People would jump at the opportunity…
Regardless of whether we had a sexy looking sales page or not.
Honestly, I still think that would have been the case…
But Justin doesn’t half-ass things.
He’s not a perfectionist…
But he does care deeply about things like design, layout, and presentation…
And because of his conviction…
I ultimately agreed to not share the Event Sales Page…
Until we’d made all of the changes he wanted.
And, of course, here’s the thing:
Justin was right, and I was wrong.
The page looks so much better now…
And honestly, I’m really excited for you to see it.
As soon as you start scrolling through it…
You’ll see pictures of Marc Stockman and Jeff Radich, who are the owners of Natural Health Sherpa.
They’ve sold over $150MM worth of health products, they’re members of Copy Accelerator, and they’re both speaking at our February event.
You’ll see Dan Lok, who put his head copywriter into Copy Accelerator.
The copywriter’s name is Ed Reay and he gave one of the most popular talks at our last event. Ed will be in Vegas with us this February, too.
You’ll see a picture of Paris Lampropolous and Tony Flores standing together.
These guys are two of the best copywriters in the world, and they were both blown away by how in-depth I went with my copy breakdowns when we were in Austin. Paris was asking more questions than a schoolkid, and he was jotting notes furiously the whole time. It was awesome to watch.

Rudy’s spoken at over 40 masterminds in the last two years, and he said that our event was by far the best one he’s ever attended.
