There are really only two different worldviews that most people have:
Worldview #1: “Most people are trying to rip me off.”
Worldview #2: “Most people are trying to help me succeed.”
If you fall into the first camp, how do you go through life?
Your interactions with others are normally surface level, because you think everyone wants something from you and this keeps you guarded…
You have a transactional mindset.
Life is a series of transactions with winners and losers. At worst, you feel as though you always lose. At best, you feel like you win at the expense of others. This can leave you laying on your deathbed with material riches, but emotional or spiritual bankruptcy.
If you fall into the second camp, how do you go through life?
Your interactions with others are normally very deep because you think everyone wants to help support you, and this makes you want to reciprocate.
You have a relational mindset.
Life is a series of adventures filled with opportunities to create win-win-wins. At worst, you may fall short in some areas but thrive when it comes to love. At best, you become spiritually, emotionally, and materially rich. This leads to the creation of a legacy, multi-generational impact, and a proud satisfaction on the day you die.
Which camp do you want to be in?
Life is short, but you get to choose.
What’s the upside of living life with a transactional, scarcity-oriented, highly negativity mindset?
What’s the upside of living life with a relational, abundance-oriented, highly positive mindset?
Food for thought.
